The novel, published in 1918, is the Norwegian author’s Gabriel Scott’s (1874-1958) most notable work which will speak to those who enjoy books of his contemporaries – Knut Hamsun and Selma Lagerlöf. The book design keeps the illustrations of the original edition. While creating it, we took inspiration from the tone of the book – joyfulness, simplicity, and directness.
