The exhibition offered an opportunity to see artefacts, documents, and photos that the Museum of Latvians Abroad (LaPa) received during the 2014 expedition in the largest Latvian emigree communities of the East Coast of Canada – Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Hamilton. For example, the exhibition included the outfit of the conductor Arvīds Purvs, the helmet of the goldsmith Jānis Peniķis, and the dolls that Ingeborga Patterson created while living in the refugee camp in Germany.
