The collection of poems «Geographies of Ideas», translated to Latvian by poet Ivars Šteinbergs, introduces the existence and feelings of modern man in the context of contemporary society and modern identity.
The focus of Ryan Dzelzkalns is on the feelings and existence of a member of the LGBT+ community in the world, in society, in the family, as well as the relationship not only with a romantic partner, but also of a poetic person with himself in the context of his identity, which is formed against a rather negative social background, significantly affecting the individuality and personality of a person.
The book design engages photographs by Elīna Ruka. The images create additional narrative, at times expanding the limits of pages.
