In preparation for the centenary of Latvia, the State Chancellery commissioned content for a digital game – a test about the history of Latvia.
The aim of the game – to spread knowledge about Latvian history among its residents of various ages. We had to choose 100 personalities, processes, places, and events in Latvia’s history, which would provide a comprehensive view on the main historical developments in the 20th century. For each of the 100 units, we created a description and tasks in 3 levels of difficulty. We worked on such topics as the first president of Latvia Janis Čakste, Independence War, soviet dissident Gunārs Astra, VEF, Kārlis Padegs, the Monument of Freedom, Collaboration with KGB, Latvian People’s Front, the Baltic Way, Riga Central Market, i.a.
